These are just some tips to help you make a character that is more fun to roleplay as. They aren't rules, however you should still read all the other threads in this board.
1. Try to be original. Don't have some character with a personality that is just "nice", or just "mean". Make sure there are different levels of your character's personality, different ways he/she reacts with different people. For example, if you want a jerkface for a character, think about why they might be so mean. Did something happen to them that made them that way? What was it?
2. Try to be more original about the power that your character has. We see a lot of people with flight and superstrength and stuff like that...how about more interesting powers? But if you want a power that a lot of people use, or that's common, think of different and new ways to use them.
